COMMISSIONED WORK

This piece is a commissioned promotional video created for a music event put on by a friend of mine. I started by creating the rotoscoped animation as a 2D video. Using Blender, I then modelled a set of vending machines using an image projection method. After modelling a machine for the main animation, I then used the image sequence of the 2d video projected to a plane in the scene. After adding emissive text and some camera animation, I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

I created the space and lighting in Blender, and the characters in photoshop.
